1.100 columns have been protected by a DUCON confinement against blast loads in order to prevent a progressive collapse of the building. The thin confinement of 50mm is slim enough to avoid the loss of existing parking space.
A confinement out of reinforced concrete would have led to thicker solution which causes the loss of ever third parking spot.
