Explosion proof protective containers
DUCON's Blast Containers provide protection against hazards for people who are in the vicinity of potentially hazardous environments. Such containers can protect against possible explosions in war zones or chemical plants, for example. Due to their modular design, they can be easily assembled and connected to form larger units. For this purpose, the DUCON protective panels are fixed in a shaping steel frame.
Several prototypes of Blast Containers have already been built and tested. This took place in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Ernst-Mach-Institut (EMI) and the company ela[container] respectively.
Security retrofitting:
The modular containers can upgraded depending on the the threat-scenario by exchanging the various DUCON-panels.
