The DUCON® Parapluie (from French: umbrella) is a thin double-curved roof shell (d = 25-35 mm) and an eccentrically arranged support with integrated drainage pipe. The two components were connected by a bolted joint. The load-bearing capacity of this cantilever construction was verified in a load test with a total of 860 kg on the longer lever arm of the roof shell.
