Another essential component of DUCON® technology is the patented infiltration mortar. The formulation was developed to ensure workability and thus complete backfilling of the micro-reinforcement. The use of a concrete plasticizer or high-performance superplasticizer based on PCE (polycarboxylate ether) makes the mortar flowable. Furthermore, it exhibits good cohesion and has a limited maximum grain diameter.
