Sustainability

Sustainability or sustainable development should satisfy the needs of the present in such a way that the opportunities of future generations are not compromised. Sustainability can be defined according to the three-pillar principle. This includes the dimensions of ecology, economy and social issues. In order to develop a sustainable solution, all three components must be given equal consideration.

By slimming down originally solid components by up to 66%, DUCON® saves a considerable amount of material. In conjunction with the long service life of DUCON® components, the life cycle balance is further improved, life cycle costs are reduced and the overall sustainability of DUCON® products is increased.
