DUCON celebrates its 20th anniversary
20 years ago, managing director Dr.-Ing. Stephan Hauser founded the company DUCON. Since then, the capability of the high-performance material has been proven again and again in numerous projects. To celebrate the anniversary, DUCON invited numerous business partners to take a look back at the company's history. Planners, experts, architects and representatives of construction companies were present, as well as suppliers and other long-standing partners, some of whom have been working with DUCON for many years.
The guests were given a review of the first patent and trademark applications, the decision to found the company and the execution of more than 400 national and international projects.
Selected reference projects in the field of DUCON Security such as the World Trade Center in New York, the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt, German embassies, nuclear power plants, the Federal Chancellery and the Federal Court of Justice were presented.
In the DUCON Architectural segment, it was primarily the ultra-slim and large-format façade panels, some of which were thermally activated, such as the ETA factory in Darmstadt. The spectrum in the architectural sector ranges from hotel façades to thin roof panels and shell structures, the thinnest folded stairs and special components.
In the DUCON Overlay area, WHG sealing layers in the chemical industry and static ceiling reinforcements in the automotive industry were presented.
In addition to the official program items, the evening offered all those present the opportunity to exchange ideas and make new acquaintances. DUCON would like to thank all guests and partners for 20 successful years and looks forward to an equally successful future.
